Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of JAK AI, including related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by JakShield Technologies (“JakShield”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, completing onboarding, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Access to JAK AI product features requires successful identity verification, completion of required profile and security steps, a valid invitation or reference where applicable, approval where required, and an active paid entitlement. Creating an authentication account alone does not grant product access.

3. Plans and payment

Paid plans (including Personal and Business subscriptions and additional Business seats) are billed according to the prices and terms presented at checkout. Enterprise arrangements are agreed separately. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Failed, cancelled, refunded, or expired subscriptions may result in suspension or termination of product access until entitlement is restored.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to bypass security or access controls, reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law, interfere with other users, or use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or risk to the Service or other customers.

5. Customer content

You retain rights to content you submit to the Service. You grant JakShield a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content.

6. AI-assisted features

JAK AI may provide suggestions, summaries, drafts, and other assistance. Outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing results and for decisions made using the Service. Do not rely on the Service as sole authority for legal, financial, medical, or safety-critical matters.

7. Confidentiality and privacy

We treat customer data with care consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Business customers must ensure their users are authorised and that organisational data is shared appropriately within their company.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding, and documentation, is owned by JakShield or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. JAKSHIELD DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JakShield will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising from the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to JakShield for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
